We wanted to extend our family living space
Mr & Mrs Horn live in their modern detached home in Lancashire with their three children, aged between 12 and 21.
They added a large 5-facet Victorian L-shaped conservatory to their home to extend the family's living space and provide them with a comfortable family room within the garden.
The conservatory has a glass roof and light oak frames to complement the existing windows and doors. It has a dwarf wall on one side and on the other, double doors link through to the garage.
The conservatory is furnished with a range of comfortable settees and chairs and is used for family living and casual dining. The Horn family decided not to have a TV in the conservatory as this is a place for the family to relax and enjoy conversation - not cartoons & Coronation Street! As well as being a place for the family to enjoy each other's company Mrs Horn also likes the fact that they now have more space in the house so all the family members have an area where they can enjoy quiet time alone if they wish.
When asked if there was anything that she would change about the conservatory, Mrs Horn replied "Nothing - I love it!"
