Personalising Your Conservatory
Ultraframe can offer a range of optional extras so you can create a conservatory that's unique to you!
Glass or polycarbonate
Conservaglass is a high performance glazing material, unique to Ultraframe. Conservaglass allows you to use your conservatory all year round by keeping heat out from the sun during Summer whilst retaining warmth from heating appliances during Winter. Especially developed for UK weather conditions, a glass roof allows you to enjoy a view of the sky by day or night. Conservaglass is available in Neutral Clear or Subtle Blue.
Polycarbonate, the alternative to glass is available in a range of colour options to complement your exterior frames. Choose from clear, opal, bronze or bronze/opal or choose our latest Polyspan Optimum polycarbonate in a choice of blue or grey. The different colour options have different properties for controlling heat/glare, your installer will be able to advise you on the option best suited to your conservatory.
Ventilation
Ultraframe can provide different solutions to ensure the perfect climate in your conservatory.
- An Ultraframe Ridgeflow ventilation unit is mechanically assisted and thermostatically controlled to provide up to 4 air changes per hour, even when you're out!
- Ultraframe trickle ventilation ensures the natural upward movement of warm air to carry moisture to the roof apex allowing it to filter outside.
- Ultraframe roof vents, highly insulated with a choice of manual or electric openers.
- Ventilated support trims which fit between the wall and roof with built-in ventilation and slider on/off control button.
Heating
Consideration should be given to extending your home's central heating system. Alternatively, you might consider under-floor heating, electric wall heaters or free-standing heating appliances.
Fans
Ultraframe can supply an extensive range of contemporary and traditional roof ridge mounted fans for gentle air movement. These can be supplied with either a standard pull-chain or infra-red remote control and are available with or without lighting.
Cresting and Finials
You can choose from a variety of cresting and finial mouldings to personalise the exterior of your Ultraframe conservatory roof.
Ultraselect decorative strips
Unique to Ultraframe, Ultraselect decorative strips create the opportunity to enhance the interior of your conservatory in keeping with the style of your intended furnishings.
Lighting
You can create the perfect ambience using integrated spotlights in the roof ridge - available in a brass finish.
